About Brush Dance
Founded in 1989, Brush Dance began as a mail order catalog offering just eight products. Since that time, we have created more than 1400 items including greeting cards, calendars, stationery products and magnets. What started as a Bay Area enterprise operated by just one person has grown into offices and warehousing in four states and world wide distribution.
While Brush Dance has proudly grown, we remain committed to our original mission of combining thoughtful expressions from leading writers, poets and teachers with meaningful artwork and photography. Our products inspire thoughtfulness, convey emotion and foster communication.
The Brush Dance is a Yurok Indian healing ritual where being true to yourself means giving your best to help a person in need. Being true to yourself is the one and only Yurok Indian law.
