Lines in journal too heavy

I ordered two of the reflection journals by Renee Lock. The Quince and the Exhale. There was a review link only for the Quince, so I am using this review space to review both. The quality of paper and boards is, as always, just great. For both, I would prefer the lined pages to have lighter lines so the lines still act as a guide but are less obvious. This is especially for the Exhale, where the lines are dark gray. Second, these are the first Renee Locks journals I have purchased. Compared to the other reflection books from Brushdance that I have purchase the sayings and the pictures are more prominent -- and more cheesy. I can get used to that. But I'm looking fondly at the journal I'm using right now and wishing it was still available. It is (sadly) discontinued. The cover is beautiful. The sayings are in smaller print. The lines on the page are lighter. Everything is more subtle. That worked for me beautifully. I will use these two Renee Locks journals, but I will not be choosing reflection journals by her in the future and will hope that there will be others more like the one I have.J4357L.
