Christine Witt, President of Brush Dance, today announced that the company will be making a donation of journals to students from Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Reknowned author and artist Mary Anne Radmacher, in partnership with Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is scheduled to address these students on the importance of self-accountability and personal vision on April 21, 2009, at the high school.

Since 1980, AVID has provided academic and social support to more than 300,000 students across 45 states and 15 countries.

Mary Anne Radmacher is the author of several books including recently released Courage Doesn’t Always Roar, published by Conari Press.

Celebrating its twentieth year in business, Brush Dance combines the work of independent artists with the widsom of teachers, poets, and writers to create mindful stationery and gift items. Mary Anne Radmacher’s art and thoughtful expressions have been featured on more than fifty Brush Dance items.
